vitamin B supplementation

Question
hello.  I was wondering what would you consider gives more value or is more effective, what works best, misc opinion, etc etc.

I am taking a spoonful of brewers yeast and bran taking this versus just a vitamin b-complex supplement, which would you consider best and justify?

Thank you for your time!

Answer
Hello Michael!

Thank you for your nutrition question.  It always best to get your nutrients from more natural forms so the brewers yeast with bran would be a much better source.  Your body will not absorb the supplement as well.
Brewers yeast may help: Diabetes, hypoglycemia, high cholesterol, eczema, nervousness, fatigue, and constipation.

Special instructions for taking it include: Take on an empty stomach unless indigestion occurs; then take with food.

Cautions and possible side effects: If you have diabetes or hypoglycemia, consult your doctor before taking. Do not take if you have candidiasis, gout, or high blood levels of uric acid. Use with caution if you have a known allergy to molds. Rarely, may cause occasional flatulence or digestive upset.

Hope this helps!
