Diet and Metabolism

Question
Hello,
I went on a very low calorie diet this summer to lose my "freshman fifteen" and happily succeded quite easily. Now that I have lost that weight I would like to start eating regular meals again. The problem is that I think I really messed up my metabolism with my diet and I'm afraid I will gain all the weight back in no time. I have heard that losing weight that quickly does not last long. What is a diet i can stick to that will get me back on track without gaining back all I have lost? Thank you very much

Answer
Never diet. No diet. None. Ever.  : )

Seriously, if you "go on" something you will eventually "go off", you can be sure, pretty much 100% positive that ALL weight lost will return, PLUS 20% more. This is why most overweight people are overweight, year after year, decade after decade. I know (I was one of them!).

My site outlines a lifestyle of eating that includes ANYTHING you want and everything you like. No gimmicks, no tricks, nothing to buy.
Check it out and let me know if you need any modifications to fit the dorm life, eateries in the area, etc.. I don't think you will - you can pretty much eat everything, but obviously avoiding the overly fatty, salty, unreal fast foods is just a good idea.
