survival without food

Question
I have anorexia and I was wondering how long a person can survive without food?

Answer
It really depends on the person. Some people have an electrolyte imbalance that causes heart failure within a week; others take longer. And no, you can't drink Gatorade or take supplements and be fine.
Anorexia, by the way, is the MOST fatal of all psychological (mental) disorders. Even if you sought to become anorexic (like most of us did)it becomes a force we can't conquer. It ends up ruling us. And when we think it's over, it can show back up at any time. My first was at about 16 years old, my last was at about 46 years old.

Take a look at my site and get more info about anorexia and what it really does. REALLY does. What you aren't seeing, will eventually become obvious, if you live long enough. It's not pretty; it's not easy and it's usually awfully painful.
