I am 5 ft 6, 19 yrs of age...

Question
I am 5 ft 6, 19 yrs of age and I weigh around 72kgs. I have gained a lot of weight over the last few months and now I am thinking about shifting to a vegetable and fruit diet. The problem is I don't know what to eat. I get hungry a lot and eat throughout the day. I need a balanced diet plan where I get to eat a lot of tasty fruits and vegetables throughout the day as well as lose a lot of weight. Help me out with a diet plan.

Answer
Hello Joe!

Thank you for your nutrition question.  I would suggest that you visit www.mypyramid.gov where you can create a healthy eating plan that is tailored to your nutrition needs. All you do is simply enter your age, gender, and activity level and it will give you a complete menu plan along with serving amounts from each food group.
The website is a very useful resource.
Since you are trying to eat healthier I would also suggest you visit www.juiceblend.com where you can learn about a great whole food supplement called Juice Plus which contains nutrients from fresh fruits and vegetables.
