hi,i was wondering how is to possible for someone who eats next to nothing apart from a nibble on carots, celery and cababge and the occassional chew and spit of a biscuit and bread with marg! gain weight? i seem to gain weight from eating like nothing and exercising 4 hours per day of high intensity activity how is this so? how can i lose weight and can you set up a meal plan for me and tell me how much i should expect to lose my aim is to lose 4kg in around 5 weeks is this possible i am 169cm tall and am 50-51kg up from 48 and my goal is to be 46-47 please help me! i am really unhappy with my weight and the way that i look at the moment so can you please help me to reach my goal weight of 46-47 and be happier!

Yes it is possible to gain weight because by not eating enough you are slowing your metabolism!  You are putting your body into what is called "starvation mode" and it is beginning to hold on to fat and calories because it is afraid it won't have enough to fuel itself.  Exercising like you are and not eating enough can be VERY dangerous.  It is NOT healthy and is NOT a good way to lose weight!!  Which I think you are finding out.

Weight loss AND good health is about eating right and exercising.  It is NOT about going to extremes and starving yourself and over-exercising, which you are.  Taking eating and exercise to extremes can be a sign of an eating disorder.  I suggest speaking with your doctor about your situation.
