Lost 20 lbs--slowly gaining it back! HELP!!

Question
Hi Reverend,
In highschool I was tiny (I have a small "frame"--a size 1,3 then a 5.  That was 5+ years ago.  Since then I have battled with losing weight.  I am about 5'4, in January of this year I weighed nearly 150lbs-I was very unhappy.  Then slowly I started to lose the weight...not having aps before meals at restaurants, not getting up to eat in the middle of the night, and trying not to binge on foods.  Then in April of this year I had a kidney stone, needless to say- in all of the pain, I lost A LOT of weight.  I have been trying so hard to keep it off, although it seems to be slowly coming back.  My face and neck are finally slimmer.  Although, I feel like behind my knees and my stomach are very fatty.  I have been eating better- 2 bowls of Special K w/fat free 80 cal soy milk for breakfast.  For lunch, usually a grilled cheese sandwich w/wheat bread and only 1 piece of cheese.  I will usually eat a banana for lunch as well, with 2 glasses of skim milk.  For dinner-it all goes down hill...this is usually when I binge, I will eat 3 or 4 bowls of Special K w/soy milk.  It seems like I cannot control how much I eat (especially w/cereal).  I love cereal.
ANYWAYS--to the point.  I am freaking out because I am about 5'4 and 135 lbs.  I feel better than I did in January, but I am worried I am going to gain it back.  Is 135lbs at 5'4, considered "fat"?  I would really like to be 125lbs...but I do not exercise.  I do not like to go to health clubs because I feel like people are looking at me.  I also suffer from depression and anxiety, so sometimes I KNOW I should get up and go for a walk--but I end up just going to bed really early.  Sometimes I obsess overing wanting to lose weight, my little sister is 5'5 and very lean and toned...it's hard to be compared to her.  Today for lunch I had a Weight Watchers frozen ziti, 1/2 a banana, 2 glasses of milk, and a bag of mini chocolate chip cookies.  I just had this urge to eat something sweet.  But, then after eating the cookies I felt extremly guilty.

Do you have any suggestions for me with how to control my weight?  Or how to deal with the binging?  I will usually be so good for a few days to a week, but then I binge again.  I feel so frustrated.

Thank you.

Answer
Please stop trying so hard. Everything you're doing is making it worse.
First, any weight loss from illness and/or dieting will come back on, nearly 100% of the time. Same for weight loss from stress.
Second, those cereal replacement 'challenges' are the most unproven and misleading claims in a long time.  If you read the small print, it's not just the cereal that does it, it's the overall calorie control PLUS exercise program (daily).

So, what you need to do is start eating right and regularly. NOT eliminating sweets or anything else  you like (how well does that work?). Exercise is as easy as finding a pool, lake or river somewhere and getting in; or dancing around the room to music you like or a couple of 10-15 min walks a day (sooo easy!)

I've got it all outlined at my site (totally free). Just click on the scales

You can do this - and I'll support you all the way!
