Question
I am 40 yrs old, 5'10" and 160lbs with a high metabalism. I haven' been to the gym in 4 years and plan to start going again. My goal is to add muscle without a lot of fat. I plan to eat 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and 2-3 weight gain or meal replacement shakes. Which type of shake do you recommend and what should i look for when i buy it. Also how do i determine my daily calorie intake.    sparky

Answer
Hello Sparky!

I would recommend going to www.mypyramid.gov to determine your daily calorie intake. I would also recommend checking out www.juiceblend.com where you can purchase an excellent protein shake powder called COMPLETE. It has all the nutrients needed for athletes such as yourself.
