No Chest

Question
Thank you for taking the time to read through my problem.

Currently I'm only 17 and am a really skinny person weighing at only 120lbs and 5'6" tall. Now I have a problem regarding my chest fat. The problem is that I have none. I'm extremely thin at the chest where you can not only see the ribs, but if you look closely you can also see the beating of my heart.

I've been exercising regulary, focusing on my pushups and benchpress in attempts to bulk up the chest. I consider my diet to be good, taking in all I need but I indulge myself in fast food once every couple of weeks. I eat my three meals a day, sometimes I eat an extra 'meal' a day if I'm hungry, and snacks in between. However, my chest is still extremely thin...

I'm the only one in my family with this problem and I'm really starting to get discouraged every time I look at my chest.

Any thoughts that can help me?

Answer
What you're doing is great and I encourage you to keep it up as long as it's not hurting (work until the muscles are 'tired' not in pain).  Your age is probably the thing holding you back right now. You've looked through your family and found that larger chests are 'normal', but WHEN did it happen?
If it's 'fat' you're seeing in them, it's not the best thing to have you know?  If it's muscle tone and development, it could be delayed into your 20's (or even later); however, honestly, it could just be a matter of weeks, months or a year away.

Double check your eating plan by looking into my site (click on the scales you'll see there with the 'feet' in them).
It's not a diet and it's not just meant for weight LOSS - it's meant to get a body to the healthiest weight it should be and can be.
