I would like some information. I would like to know why is it so important to eat three times a day?
There are many reasons why it is important to eat AT LEAST three times a day! Number one, your body needs to be fueled throughout the day to keep your metabolism going, to keep your body's energy up and to keep your brain fueled. When you go all night without food and then wake up and not eat breakfast, you are starving your body from fuel for a very long period of time. Secondly, it is impossible to get all of the food groups and essential nutrients that your body needs for good health if you are not eating at least 3 meals a day. For these reasons, it is actually better to eat 5-6 small meals a day!
