Nutritional Supplement while Dieting

Question
Hello,
I read an article about dieting and hair loss (TE), which I currently have.  Here's my story...I've lost approximately 50 pounds over a 1 year period (if not longer).  I did not do these crazed diets like the atkins or south beach, I just stuck to eating lean meat, fruit, vegetables, and working out (treadmill and rollerblading).  My hair has been shedding very bad, so I went to a few dermatologists and they stated I have TE and am now taking Biotin to help slow the shedding.  In the article I read, it stated that if you reduce your calorie intake under 1200, this could be a cause of hair loss..and they recommended nutritional supplements.  Can you recommend a nutritional supplement to ensure I am getting all of the vitamins, etc. that my body needs.
Thanks for your help,
Melissa

Answer
Hello Melissa,

NO, because just somebody put the right stuff in a product does not mean it is still in when you open it, and it sure doesn't mean it is in a form your body can utilize. Milk contains calcium, but in a form that removes it from your body, not add it. Latest study says that calcium pills are useless, I think there may be more to that.

Take a multivitamin, it may help, I do, but focus on food to get what you need.
