Question
Hi, I mailed you before, I'm 17 157 pounds and going up, I'm a girl if it helps. I am planning on starting a weight loss thing soon but was wondering how long and how many pounds will it take until I'm not so lazy any more? for the past month or more I feel just like siting/laying or sleeping all the time I wasnt like this before I gained 20 pounds...why has this happened? I hope to start tomarrow or the next day the weekend would give me a headstart before heading to work next week, my legs and back are always sore now too...its because of the extra weight isnt it? I diewted last year too much I was the lightest I think I'd ever been at 137 pounds but I was on a crash diet and was basicly anerxic last year it was horrible all Icared about was being skinny I hated my life/friends/family and even my pets! had a bit of a temper then I understand why. I have no idea what i'll be doing to loose this weight I know I want it gone by my birthday or at lest some of it my birtday is 23ard of next month. thansk for taking the time to read this and for any words or wisdom you can offer

Answer
Dear Lee, Your question of how many pounds before you are not lazy anymore, is not one I can answer. You and only you are responsible for making a plan and sticking with it. Just like you get up for school or work, get up to walk, exercise, and follow a healthy eating plan. You already know that crash dieting doesn't work, so stick with a 1500-1800 calorie eating program and don't give up. Laura Kraemer,Slimkids.com
