Am I healthy?!!!

Question
I am around thirteen and 1/2 and I was 5'2" last time I checked.
I weigh 124 pounds- but it is also a fact that I ran highschool cross country.  We ran FIVE days a week for a long time: talk about hard.  I also have to go to boring school all day... *sigh* (school lunches seriously ARE unhealthy).  I gained a whole lot of muscle.
Before all of this, I only weighed 110 pounds.  What happened?
Will I ever be normal again?  I gained muscle and bone from CC, but is there even a way to get back to the norm?
I am sick of felling fat- someone please help me!  I seriously need to find a way to lose muscle AND bone.

Answer
Elizabeth,
At your present weight, YOU are considered to be at a healthy weight and that is what is important.  Of course you are gaining weight because your body is still growing and developing.  You are adding bone and lean mass because your body is getting taller and filling out and you need that to support your growing body.  You are fine where you are at.
You cannot lose bone and you don't want to lose muscle!  Muscle is what burns calories and what supports your growing bones.
As far as eating, stick to a healthy diet!  You need good nutrition for proper growth and development!  If school lunches are unhealthy than I suggest you bring your lunch to school with you so that you have control over what you eat.
Check out http://www.mypyramid.gov/kids/index.html to get an idea of what a "healthy" diet is!  Stick to healthy foods like fruits, veggies, lean meats, fat-free dairy foods such as milk or yogurt and grains!  Cut back on soft drinks, sugary foods, fast foods, etc...  Not that you have to avoid them completely but only eat them on ocassion.
Regular physical activity is the other half of the equation!  If you are not running cross country anymore than get yourself involved in some other type of physical activity that you ENJOY!
