Dieting, exercising, but gaining weight

Question
i have been dieting(1000-1500cal) and exercising(30-60min) for the past 2 mths. I went from having 10lbs to 12lbs to 15lbs and now 18lbs to lose.  I have cut out sweets and only have soda maybe once a week.  I don't eat red meat. Please give me some advice as to how to drop weight and not gain it.

Answer
Dear Gina,

You might be:

* eating too little and getting into the starvation mode
* eating wrong foods (cutting out sweets is not always enough)
* not exercising enough: latest guidelines say to exercise at least 60 min at moderate to high intensity most of the days

It all boils to this: you need a complete and individualized eating/exercise program. Since I am most familiar with our own program, and since it's free, I advise that you try it.
