Dietary fiber: how much?

Question
hi! i was wondering if it would be harmful to eat about a box of fiber one a day...i read that for 1/2 a cup, it has 25 grams of carbohydrates..so i figured that this is good, but i was wondering if it is possible to get too much fiber...also, ive heard that this fiber goes through your system without adding any calories..is this true?

Answer
Well there is nothing wrong with it if you like it. If 1/2 a cup has 25 grams of carbs how many 1/2 cups are in 1/2 a box. I don't know if it would be to much because I don't know what else you are eating during the day (hope it's not just that). Fiber in large quantities go through you but not that way, those calories are definitely absorbed.

What else are you eating?
