Frustrated

Question
My name is Bridget, I am 22 and 6 1/2 weeks pregnant with my third child and this past year I lost over 80lbs on a strict diet and excerice program. I ate healthy, but kept calories restricted and spent a good deal of time working out (2-4 hrs a day, 5-6 days a week). I didn't eat after 5PM and I drank Green Tea inbetween meals to help curb my appetite. Now that I am pregnant and can't really restrict myself so much, I am starting to gain weight rapidly, I still excercise 5-6 days a week and burn about 600 cals a day but I have packed on 8lbs already! I am incredibly frustrated and feel helpless! Is it safe for me to cut calories and increase activity to stop the weight gain and maintain, could I be eating the wrong things? This is my third and I only gained 20lbs with both my other two and I ate like a pig and didn't workout and now with this one I am halfway to 20lbs in the first 6 weeks! Sorry for the length of this, I am just desperate, after being obese and losing it all, I never want to gain too much again.

Thank you!
Bridget

Answer
HI Bridget,

Calm down, it will RAISE your metbolism.

Your note is not long - long is the ones I get from ladies on diet pills, they are four paragraphs long and all in screaming capital letters.

Eat when you are hungry. Your body, your appetite is not your enemy. Focus on the quality of what you eat and the quanity will take care of itself. Counting calories is a waste, so is not eating after 5. Focus on fresh produce, whole grains, no refined flour/sugar.

NO BOdy is fat from eating too much raw fruit.
When you get what you need, you don't overeat.
