Are cooking sprays fattenin?

Question

HELLO HOW ARE YOU? I have a simple question about cooking-srays.  I am on a weight-loss diet and i use Pam, Wesson or any other brand of Cooking Sprays for my weight-loss diet, to stir-fry the vegetables, to spread it on my boiled rice, potatoes, etc.  And i would like to know if cooking sprays are really calorie-free as the nutrition labels claim?

Please answer me, because i have noticed that a lot of foods out there contain hidden calories, even if their nutrition lables says that they have zero calories, or calorie-free.

Thanks and have a nice day

Answer
Hi Juan Carlos

Well what I have to tell you first is the legality of food labeling. You see a company can claim a product is Fat Free as along as it has less than .5 grams of Fat per serving. But Cooking spray is OIL, so how is it Fat Free? Read the label, calories are based on the serving, what's a serving for the brand you have?
