weight maintenance

Question
If I gained a pound by increasing my calorific intake each day and after that I want to maintain my weight there and do not gain any more weight. Do I continue consuming the extra calories each day or eat per normal or consume extra calories but lesser calories than when I was trying to gain weight?

Answer
If you are increasing your calories for weight gain than yes, when you want to maintain you need to return to your maintenance calorie level.  But keep in mind that your maintenance calorie will change as you gain weight and your body gets bigger so that will need to be refigured.
