metallic taste

Question
I have had a metallic taste in my mouth for about 6 weeks now.  It seems to be getting worse.  I have this constant feeling of a film on my tongue and throat w/  a chemical taste.  I have tried a course of antibiotics in case of sinus infection and have been to a dentist.  I am currently on a multi-vitamin, but no other medications.  What can I do?  It is driving me nuts!

Answer
Hello Lynda!

The multi-vitamin may be causing the metallic taste in your mouth. I would recommend that switch to a different supplement such as Juice Plus which is made from fresh fruits and vegetables. The website to purchase it is www.juiceblend.com   You can also chew on hard candy such as mints and cinnamon flavors whenever the taste arises.
