Hydrogenated oils

Question
Are there hydrogenated oils in pizza cheese (like at your local pizzeria or say
even Pizza Hut)?

Answer
Hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated fats/oils are typically found in bread products where they are used to improve the shelf-life.  So the pizza dough will be the culprit in this case.

Saturated fats, which have been linked to heart disease, are found in cheese.  The pizza cheese would be included.

Thanks for your question.  I hope that my answer helps.
