Fish Oil Supplements

Question
I heard that one should not take any form of fish oil with any other supplements because it will affect their absorption & cause them not to digest as efficiently due to the oil lining the intestines. Is there any truth to this?
Thank you.

Answer
I have not heard of anything like this and my research shows that the only supplements that should not be taken with fish oil are those that are blood thinners such as Vitamin E, garlic, white willow, and others.  This is because the fish oil tends to potentiate or heighten the activity of the other supplement.

Thank you for your question, Pam.  I hope that you find my answer helpful.
