low (zero) fats diet

Question
If I eat food high in carbohydrates and very low in fat lets say zero fat, will I lose weight?
disregarding if it is healthy or not, but will I loss weight??

Answer
No. You need to get enough fat into your diet. Your brain is about 60at and it is also required for heart and liver function. You just need to get the right kinds of carbs and fats.

Get your carbs from high fiber, whole grain sources and from fruits and vegetables. Get your fat from vegetables, fish and nuts.

If you try and eliminate fat completely you will actually induce a 'pseudo starvation' mode and your body will try and make more fat and store the fat you do get more efficiently. This will make weight loss very difficult.

Hope this helps.
