Safe control of cravings and belly fat

Question
Dear expert,

I am not asking you for diet advice or anything of the such, well maybe I am.

I am a 17 year old male,

I am thin yet very lean, although I do carry extra fat around my waist and in my chest.

I really take it to be my eating habits. I eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and eat. I love to eat, I wake up and the first thing I think about is what I'm going to eat.

I really don't like junk food that much either, or fried food for that matter.

I am not fat, in fact I weigh about 140 pounds. I am very thin, yet I am almost completely muscle. I have muscle and the muscle is well defined in both my stomach and chest.

I exercise regularly like I should and take vitamins and supplements too. I take a men's multi vitamin, and I drink a protein shake in the morning. The most common thing I eat is macaroni and cheese with grilled hot dogs cut up into it, But I also eat lots of pasta and spinach and lean meats.

I eat fairly healthy too, I just have this constant desire to eat. It really stresses me out because my stomach and chest having the excess fat deposits is affecting my relationship. I know it sounds kind of silly, but I really want to control my eating for my health

I really take my problem to be eating. I really want to learn how to control my eating habits without starving myself. I know that If I continue eating the way I do, that I will end up fat.

My question

1. Is there a way to safely control my eating habits without pills or developing an eating disorder?

2. Is there a safe way to control my cravings for food??

Answer
Dear Joe,

First, I suggest that you figure out your exact body fat percent. To do this, go to:

After that, please read about fat distribution. Yours can be a typical case of being 'skinny fat' -- in this case, you do have to change your way of eating, for example:
