Losing Weight and getting toned

Question
Hello my name is Jaye and I'm 15 yrs. old, 6'0 ft, and 211 lbs. I would like to know how much weight i should lose and what excercise would be best to lose the weight the quickest. The most important thing is i would like to go from a 38 in pant to maybe a 34 or 36.

Answer
You could lose twenty pounds with no problem at all.  Do cardio workouts followed by weight training.  This method burns up your carbohydrates and then fat gets burned quicker.  You'll also gain lean muscle mass which keeps your metabolism burning fat all day long.

Eat smaller portions than you do now and start eating some mini-meals every 3 hours.  This also keeps your metabolism boosted.  Drink lots of water because your body needs it to burn fat.

Avoid fatty foods, fried foods, red meat, white bread, white rice, and white sugar.  These are all foods that add weight with little nutrition.

Thanks for your question, Jaye.  I hope that my answer was helpful.
