corn digesting

Question
I was told that corn does not digest in the body in any form.  Is that true?  I read about the nutritional information and it's very nutritious.  How can the body absorb the nutrition without digesting?

Answer
Corn digests as well as any other food.  The digestive system doesn't break down whole kernels as well as in our primitive ancestors' days so it is vitally important to chew the corn completely for full digestion.

Thank you for your question, Rodney.  I hope that my answer was helpful.
