Fat Burning Etc.

Question
Hello, I'm a male (15) and i have lost weight over the past year with diet and
excersise. I have been working on my abs and if i flex them and pull the little
or last layer of fat left i can see most of a six pack. I've been doing cardio
about four times a week and ab excersises, and im sure im doing it right, but
am not seeing much progress. How do you suggest to accomplish the loss of
the final fat layer, effectively and if possible quickly. Also what are any fat
burners that are safe for kids to take, even if not intended for them. Thank
you!

Answer
It sounds like you're doing just great but that you may have hit a plateau.  Try changing your workout routine by adding some weight training.  The muscle burns calories at a higher rate and it burns them constantly - even while you're asleep.  Eat smaller portions more frequently - every three hours.  This keeps your metabolism at a constant pace, burning more calories than just eating three meals a day.

I don't recommend fat burners for anyone.  There are too many potential side effects.

These tips are just a small portion of an 8-week online class that I teach called 'The Answer's Right Under Your Nose.'  It's in the Personal Coaching section of my website - www.jerryryanphd.com.  Check it out if you have the time.

Thank you for your question, Jason.  I hope that my answer was helpful.
