Will eating this smoothie twice a day add weight?

Question
I make a smoothie that contains the following and am concerned about the sugar:

1 banana
less than half a cup of frozen raspberries
4-6 fresh strawberries
2 cups of fresh spinach
8-12 ounces of fresh all natural no sugar added orange juice, cranberry juice, or grape juice.

I drink this twice a day.  I do not eat any processed sugar in any other area of my diet and the only starch I eat from time to time is popcorn cooked with a little olive oil. My diet is probably limited to about 1500-2000 calories a day. Often less.  I do thirty five minutes of moderate cardio everyday and Core Exercise ball traiing every other day, the workout times four.

Answer
Dear Benesha, The smoothie probably has about 200-250 calories per shake. Your body will have to burn off those calories just like any other food you eat. If the smoothie is in addition to what you are eating now, then it's an additional 500 calories per day your body will have to burn off. It is essentially a natural sugar drink full of carbohydrates. The days you drink the shake, cut your other calories to the lower 1500 per day, or add more exercise. Hope that helps, Laura Kraemer, Slimkids.com
