my name is Ashley, i am 5'6", 15 years old, and i weigh 176 pounds i think....actually i know I'm over weight even though i don't really look it. what is the average weight of a girl my height and age, and how can i lose weight

Dear Ashley, An average weight for a girl your height would be about 150 pounds. Weight depends on muscle mass and bone structure, so it really depends on how you feel at your present weight. To lose weight, you will have to eat about 200-250 less calories per day then what you are use to eating, and you have to increase your daily exercise.
