increse muscle mass

Question
Hi, I'm 29 years old male from Macedonia, Europe. I'm 174 cm, 63 kg. I go to gym 3 times a week, 10-12 min. do cardio (on stationary bicycle)and I do weight training. I'm beginer, only 2 weeks ago I started my training. I want to increase my muscle mass, so I started to take ISO sensation 93 by Ultimate nutrition (in my country only this firm's products are available). Can you, please, tell me if this product (and proteins shakes at all) can help me to increase my muscle mass?

Answer
Hi Sase, thanks for writing me all the way from Europe!   That is a good product--take it twice a day.   Take one serving immediately after your workout, and another serving right before bed (30 min before).   Once you have been training for 1 month, increase your gym workouts to 4 or 5 times per week, and make sure that you are getting a good supply of lean protein and complex carbohydrates throughout the day.    Go to www.bodybuilding.com for articles on nutrition.  You should be eating about 1g carbohydrate per lb of bodyweight (you'll have to convert your kg to lb), which will help build muscle, but not make you 'fat'.   Make sure to eat about 1-2 g protein per lb of bodyweight as well (per day).    Start with 1g protein per lb, and if you are still hungry after a week's time, you can increase.
Good luck!
