Hi there! I am 20 and my fiance is 22. We will be getting married on February 9th which is exactly 73 days away. Time until our wedding is getting shorter and shorter and we want to, BUT I NEED TO lose weight before that day!!! I bought and received Turbo Jam Workout Plan yesterday so that what we're going for workouts. We have been looking up a lot of healthy eating plans and they are all SO TIME CONSUMING, with WEIRD foods I've never heard of. We need a very simple but very healthy eating plan. We arent looking to diet, we're looking to eat healthy and change our lifestyle. Please help!!

  Thank you for your nutrition question.  Congratulations on getting married in February. I have put together a healthy eating plan for you to follow while helping you lose weight. It is 1600 calories which can help most people lose 1 pound a week. Slow weight loss is more healthy and permanent.

Breakfast

> Banana   1 medium
?Milk, nonfat (skim)   8 fl oz
?Honeydew melon, raw, diced   1/2 cup
?Pecan, dried, raw   1/4 cup

Lunch

?Turkey sandwich:
 Turkey breast lunch meat, honey-smoked   3 oz
 100% whole grain bread   2 slices
 Mayonnaise, reduced-fat   1 tbsp
?Veggies and dip:
 Salad dressing, 1000 island, nonfat   1 tbsp
 Carrot, baby, raw   4 medium
 Celery, raw   1 stalk
?Kiwi fruit, fresh, raw   1 fruit
?Iced tea, unsweetened, with lemon   6 oz

Snack
?Yogurt, fruit, nonfat, reduced-calorie   6 oz
?Blueberries, raw   1/2 cup


Dinner
?VEGGIE BEEF STEW

VEGGIE BEEF STEW

Serves: 8
Preparation Time: 35 Minute(s)
Cook Time: 1 Hour(s) 40 Minute(s)

Ingredients:
1 lb. boneless chuck shoulder or top blade steak, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. Promise?Light Spread
3/4 cup dry red wine or fat-free reduced-sodium beef broth
1 can (14.5 oz.) fat-free reduced-sodium beef broth
1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes
2 large zucchini, cut into chunks (about 4 cups)
2 cups sliced carrots
1 large onion, diced
1 package (10 oz.) mushrooms, quartered
2 Tbsp. cornmeal

Directions:
In large bowl or resealable plastic bag, toss beef with flour; set aside. In 5-quart nonstick saucepot, melt Promise?Light Spread over medium-high heat and brown beef. Add wine, scraping brown bits from bottom of saucepan. Stir in broth, tomatoes, zucchini, carrots, onion and mushrooms. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 1-1/2 hours or until beef is tender. Stir in 2 tablespoons cornmeal and cook, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes or until thickened.

Also terrific with Promise?Light Spread.

?Dinner roll, whole wheat   1 oz
 Promise?Light Spread   1 tbsp
?Caesar salad:
 Lettuce, romaine, raw, chopped   1 cup
 Salad dressing, Caesar, reduced-fat   1 tbsp
 Parmesan cheese, shredded   1 tbsp
?Milk, nonfat (skim)   4 fl oz
