loss of weight after child birth

Question
Hi, I had delivered a healthy baby 8 months ago by C-sec. I am 27 years old. Although, I am eating properly and eating the right food, still I think I am becoming very lean day by day. Yes, I am breastfeeding, but as I have returned to my job, I am not feeding the baby 24x7.
I have no issues if I have become lean (I am more leaner than I was before i got pregnant), however, I just want to be sure that this is not the onset of any medical problems in my body. Losing weight after birth of a child is not any sign of any ailment that will occur after sometime.

Answer
Hi Manishi,

Obviously have a check with your doctor to make sure there is nothing unusual going on.

The best advice I can give you is to switch from drinking cow's milk to soy milk- it will give you and your baby such a health boost.
Also, add more protein into your diet- that will help with muscle retention. I have a great presentation especially for pregnant and new mums that I can send on email. You can register at my site below and I'll gladly send it to you.

All the best
