the dying need for abs

Question
So I'm 17.  My boyfriend and I go to the gym everyday!  I'm only 5' 3" and my weight fluctuates from 123 to even 130 sometimes.  I look good at any weight in between there except for my abs.  Everything else is perfect.  I know I have abs under the little pouch I have because I can and so can everyone else, feel them.  I workout everyday and do abs every other day.  What can I do?  I know all about my calorie intake and I probably only eat 1200 calories if that a day.  Except with my little sugar splurges once in a while...but we all have them :-] Help me

Answer
Hi Brianna,

If your diet is healthy and your workouts are well rounded, try CLA. This is conjugated linoleic acid, sometimes called tonalin. CLA is a fatty acid that may reduce stubborn belly fat, recent studies even show promise for thighs. CLA shuttles stored fat to the cells mitochondria to be burned for energy.

Don't go for the cheapest! Cost is indicative of quality.

Do you keep a food journal? This may also be helpful to track what you are eating and analyze for possible adjustments. What kind of carbs do you eat on a daily basis- are they whole grain and complex? Sometimes fine tuning the diet can give you that little extra...

Thanks for writing!
