i am a vegetarian and my dad says that i cant get enough protein if i don't eat meat how much protein do i need to stay healthy. i am 17 5'1'' and i think about 130 lbs but i am not sure

Your body can not use much protein, and too much does kidney damage, and other damage. Once a day, the equivalant of a piece of meat the size of the palm of your hand is all you can use.
