Question
Are plain boiled potatoes ok for a healthy diet (2 potatoes daily)?  I'm trying to phase of white bread or pasta, but don't know what to replace for the same low cost.

Answer
Dear Allie,

As with any food, potatoes may be good or bad depending on too many things to list them all here. It's a no-no for a classic low carb dieter but OK for those watching calories or fats. It's also can be OK if you would like to try the Banta Diet http://bantadiet.com .
