LOOSE WEIGHT

Question
I AM 32 YEAR OLD FEMALE WITH A WIGHT OF 155LBS A WORK OUT OF AND ON ABOUT 3 TIMES A WEEK I AM LOOKING AT LOOSING 10 TO 15 LBS IN 6 WEEKS.  IS LOOSING 2LBS A WEEK HEALTHY AND HOW CAN I ACHIEVE THIS.  HOW MANY CALORIES SHOULD I TAKE A DAY AND HOW LONG OF A WORKOUT SHOULD I BE DOING.

Answer
Hi Maria, Losing 2 pounds per week is healthy. You should continue your work-outs three times a week and add a walk for at least thirty minutes per day, on the days you don't do a thirty minute work-out. So try to do something for at least thirty minutes per day. You should be able to lose two pounds per week by eating 1500 calories per day. Read all labels and write down calorie totals. Hope that helps, Laura Kraemer,Slimkids.com
