Nutritions Affect on Cholesterol

Question
Please give me some information about how soon might a low-saturated fat/very low simple sugars & carbohydrates diet (that could be called a "vegetarian with fish" diet action plan) start to affect one's high cholesterol level.  Also, I read on Dr. Mercola's Web site that UVB sunlight rays turns the cholesterol in one's skin into Vitamin D. Have you heard of this? Thank you.

Answer
Pat, your body does make Vit D out of cholesterol but it needs very little to do this.  A low saturated fat diet with complex carbs only will improve your cholesterol.  Fatty fish and omega 3 fatty acids will help also as will avoiding trans fats (mostly in processed foods).  You are on the right track - try it and if it's not enough (sometimes it is, sometimes not) you might try bios life complete.

Thanks for your questions,
