Gut

Question
I am 50,in pretty good shape for my age.
I run and hit the weights several times a week and eat very healthy.I dont drink beer or eat junk.
I kind of look like you though older and a bigger belly!
Problem is as I have gotten older my belly sticks out more.
Its weird as I can barely 'pinch an inch' and I can even see, though faintly, my 'sixpack'.
Maybe its genetic as my Dad and Uncle were like this, but also very annoying. I look pretty good in a bathing suit except it looks like I just swallowed a beachball!
I have tried low carb, low fat nothing works.
I even tried lying on a ball to 'push' my stomach in- didnt work. Any thoughts?

Answer
Carl, the belly is the first place men put weight on. If you have ANY body fat, that's where it's going to go first. The only way to get rid of it is CARDIO. You have to burn more calories than you consume.

Assuming, of course, this IS body fat and not some kind of genetic abnormality (you said so yourself) or disease (worm?). I can't help you with those.

I know all about bad genetics. My mother's side of the family has a noticable curve in the lower back - which makes our butts look HUGE even when we're in shape.
