Brown rice and hulled millet: nutrition


Question
What is the difference, in terms of nutrition, between "hulled millet" and "whole millet"?  Am I right that hulled millet means that the outside of the grain has been removed?  Is that nutritionally as regrettable as the shift from brown rice to white rice?  Thanks.

Hulled millte is a whole grain. White rice is the result of not only hulling the rice grain but also of removing the bran layer. Just hulled rice is brawn rice. Same with millet. Removing just the hull, we get whole millet, similar to brown rice. See for details:
