How can one measure the after-meal fullness?

Question
Is there any accurate methods of measuring fullness after a meal?

Answer
Peter,

In one word, yes, there are such methods. However, there are two aspects of that. If you want to _choose_ foods that are known to be more fulling than the others, then the best way is to use the satiety index of foods. It can be found here:

If your question is more on the academic side, there are so called visual analogue scale  or category scale uses in most studies of human satiety. The exact name is "the Labelled Magnitude Satiety Scale"
