Hello..
I am PCOS patient.. 25 year old.. My weight is 122 lb and height is 5.4..
I work out 5 days a week.. half n hour 3 mile walk.. and 1 hour aerobics excercise..
in morning i drink lamon and honey warm water and around 10 o'clock i eat one apple and in lunch time most of the time i eat fruits or watermalon or other malon.. and i am pure vegetarian person.. so in dinner i ear salads or soops or whole wheat bread or milk and cereal..
in weekend i eat one bread and milk in morning and fruits in lunch and some pasta in dinner.. but it is really hard me to loose weight.. i know i am not over weight.. but still i need to loose my thigh fat..

I have been given birthcontrol pill by doctor to get my period regularly..
I have tried 5 days diet on just fruits and just boiled vegetables.. but i did not see 1 lb difference in my weight..

Please advice me.. i am really disappointed as i worked out really hard and not loosing weight..

Thanks,

Answer
I think a Lot of it may be due to your hormones being out of whack from the PCOS, thats one thing to take into account for sure.

The next thing is, and likely could be a lot to due with your PCOS, your diet seems horrible. I don't mind you being a vegetarian, to each their own, but you are not eating enough to support your own body from the sounds of it. Your starving your body having maybe a total of a couple hundred calories by lunch, maybe 700-800 calories total a day. Your body is doing all it can to survive which means its slowing dont all the process it has to to sustain life and is storing as much fat as it can to keep you alive. I am betting you have No energy and its a big reason why you have no period without exogenous hormones. You need to eat more to be healthy and lose fat and hold muscle.  Your getting ZERO fat in your diet and low protein. Both of which are 100% needed to just be healthy. A lack of fats can directly have a negative impact on your hormones and all your health directly at a cellular level. You ned to get a health relationship with Nuts, dairy, olive oil, beans etc.

I would also suggest a bit of resistance training once you get your diet fixed to promote some muscle gain which wil also burn fat and give you muscle and make you leaner.

Hope that helps
