Density of food

Question
there are lots of time when I know approximately how much I ate (volume) like at parent's dinner where there isn't a scale but can't relate that to weight. Is there a table of approximate physical density of many foods online or otherwise?

Answer
Micheal-

No I don't know of such a table. I think the best way would be to get your self used to not weight but portion size like 1/4 cup of this = this much and then you can eyeball that amount of food.

Or learn I was very successful in memorizing what 100g portions of food Looked like, and how much their marco nutrient level and caloric level was.

I would say I would NOT get this anal about your intake unless you real y have to and are attempting to get stage ready for a SHORT period of time. Living in such away, everyday long term is to stressful and there really is no need if you simply want to be in great physical shape. It can actually hold you back compared to simply eating great food, adopting solid lifestyles you can live with

Hope this helps
