Young Adult Looking to Lose Weight

Question
I'm a 22 year old senior in college.  I spent a large portion of my life as a gymnast working out 30 hours a week.  I did the sport I loved, ate whatever I want, and was in amazing shape with a very toned and athletic body. I loved the way I looked.  Then I had a career ending injury and was no longer able to compete in the sport.

I still ate whatever I wanted because that is what I had done my entire life.  However, I was no longer physically active and started putting on weight.

I am by no means fat. I still wear a size 4/6 in pants. However, do not let that fool you. I weigh 147 pounds and I am 5'3. My muscles have all turned to fat and I am rather flabby. Everyone has noticed the weight gain and loss of being toned.  The flab on my stomach is showing through my shirts and I no longer can wear a bikini.  I want to be able to feel like I look good in a bikini again. I want to be comfortable in my skin again.

The problem is that working out is boring. I stayed in shape by flipping and twisting and doing the sport I loved.  Running and using the elliptical and other such things are painfully boring.  I tried doing gymnastics again but it didn't work out. So, I don't do any physical activity and it shows.

I also eat a lot and not healthy.  My diet is not healthy due to being a college student struggling to pay rent.  Finding healthy food is an expensive I cannot afford.  I also have a crazy appetite.  Even when I am not hungry, I crave food.  I eat far more calories than I should, but I do not know how to make the food cravings stop.  I don't crave anything in particular... I just want to eat.  These cravings have been going on for as long as I can remember.

I rarely drink alcohol, I do not smoke, and I have never done drugs.  I am also not pregnant and I am fully healthy.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.  I have though about seeing a medical doctor about this as well but I wasn't sure what type of doctor to go see?

Thanks!

Answer
HI Lauren,

Thank you for all the information. I have a couple of recommendations - use Bios Life Slim (I can email you a 7 min video about it or a link to a webinar that will explain it). It will take care of your cravings and help you lose weight.  You can check it out at www.bioslifeslim.com/jenbirge.  I have had people tell me they actually save money when they use this because it keeps them from overeating.  It's natural and healthy.  The other recommendation is that even though exercise is boring - you should find something to do.  For example, I will do the elliptical while i watch the news - that makes it not boring.  There's all kinds of ways to move your body - start experimenting with some.  Our bodies are made to move.  You can do it!

Let me know if you have any questions.
