Question
QUESTION: hello my name is zack im 14 and a half, 5ft 2in and weigh 34 kilos.

yes im aware that im under weight i used to be anorexic but im recovering from that and am currently eating 1800 cals aday.

is this okay???
or is it to much???

thankyou for your time and any help given would be greatly apriciated. :)

ANSWER: Hi Zack.  Well, if you weigh 34 kg (~75 lbs.), you are underweight for your height.  Do you feel underweight?  Would you like to gain weight?  Without knowing much about you and your health status, I would recommend at least 2000 calories/day.  If you are recovering from anorexia, I would recommend you see a nutritionist/dietitian.  Please let me know if you have anymore questions.

QUESTION: hello, thankyou for answering my question.

i am being monotered by Doctors, i do not want to gain weight. But i understand that health has prioraty over my own vainity.

I would be willing to knock my weight up to 6 and a half stone i think...................

Answer
Zack,

Hi.  Six and a half stone....you are meaning lbs. when you say that?  I think that it would be a very good idea to increase your weight.  I am glad you are being monitored.  Do you think you could go up to 2000cal/day.  It would be good for slow weight gain, nothing too quick.  I wish you the best!

Jennifer
