feeling weak when losing weight

Question
Im a 5'5" 128-130lb female. I'm 20yrs old. when i start to lose weight i start to feel weak, normally when i get under 130lbs. i try to get at least 2000mg of potassium and at least 50g of protien. i drink 1.5-2L of water a day. I do interval cardio 4X a week and weights 2X a week. I take a multivitiam everyday, and i also have a slim fast drink for breakfast just for vitamins and protien. i also have depression, could that be it? im trying SO hard to get a flat stomach... i was thinking of cutting out the drink and having cereal and having some fish for lunch or a whole wheat sandwich with low fat meat... i dont know, why am i feeling so weak? HELP!

Answer
I'm not a doctor, and you might want to consult with one if you're always feeling weak.

It sounds to me like you're not getting enough carbohydrate in your diet. Whenever I cut carbs to try and lose weight, I get real depressed, irritable, and I feel like crap.

Yes, add in some sugarless cereal and whole-grain carbs to your diet and just increase your cardio a little to offset the extra calories.

AND SEE A DOCTOR if the problem doesn't go away in a couple of days.

Also?make sure you're getting good sleep.
