cinnamon and honey

Question
I'm new onset diabetic with HTN. Was told there is something to the use of cinnamon and honey for the use of controlling diabetes and it also has other health benefits. What are they and how much do you use?

Answer
Carrol, I have never seen cinnamon make a difference.  HOney has just as many carbs as sugar and will raise your blood sugar. Honey is not a treatment for diabetes.

Let me know if you have any more questions.
