Lean Crusines

Question
Hi Susan, I've been reading some very great info on www.premiumfuel.com & have a couple questions for ya.  I'm a 27 y/o m who's 6'0 240 (was 251 a month ago) that does 60 min. interval cardio/Lifting 4-5 days/wk. for activity as my job is computer based and at home.  I've read all about BMR an have been cutting calories like crazy to drop a lb./wk and think it's going slowly but surely & wonder if lean crusines are more bad than good.  I cal. count them pretty closley an read the nutrition facts and can't see anything wrong with them.  Am i missing something?  I've read there bad "sort of".  lol whats that suppose to mean?  Thanks!

Answer
Hi Bryan,

Long range effects are not very successful. In general, nothing is that you "go off of". People feel compelled to punish themselves for 12 weeks, then fall off, fall into the same pattern that didn't work and go on the next fad, and the more you do this, the harder it gets to lose weiight.

I get crazy when  RD's tell people that they quit  losing weight because they are eating too many carrot sticks. I foam at the mouth when I hear "Everything in moderation", like a normal human can eat one cookie or 3 chips out of a bag and leave it alone. It does not work and some junk only a human will mistake for food. It is not that simple, it is about your metabolism changing with feeling deprived all of a sudden, also mood, etc. Heck, the current economy is probably lowering metabolism universally enough to get folks to store fat by walking past a bakery.

I do not use a microwave. Had one, I suspect it does something negative to cell structure or something.

Nutritional contents - just because they put something in or near a product, that does not mean it is still there, or in a useful form. Like milk, contains calcium, but in a form that removes calcium from a body, not add any.

Real Food - whole grains, a little protein, all the raw fresh produce, pack a few raw nuts so you do not run around hungry, ever.
