hypothyroidism

Question
I am a breast cancer survivor of 4 years. Three years ago, I was diagnosed with severe hypothyroidism. My TSH levels were off the charts--95+. I have been taking thyroxine and now my levels have stabilized, but I still lack energy. I am interested in learning how to better nourish my thyroid. Do you have any suggestions?

Answer
Thyroid issues can be very tricky. I suggest that you read the book "The Whole Truth" by Andrea Beaman

she went through thyroid disease and managed to really help to heal herself through food. It is a process and to complicated to answer in a short venue like this, but I think the book could really be of help to you.
