dont like fruit or veg

Question
Hi

I am 22 years old and I work in fast food 5 days a week which comes with a free meal.

I recently took part in a study which show my body mass is 45% fast which falls into "risky"

I would love to eat healthier but my problem is I dont like healthy foods. I simply do not like any form of fruit or veg - from its smell to texture to taste I just cant eat any of it.

Because of this I find dieting very very difficult.

Can you offer any solutions - I dont which to be slim - Just not at  dangerous level. Which every day foods would be most beneficial?

Thanks

Answer
Dear Jennifer, I can't really offer you solutions to how you can change your taste for foods, as you are in charge of what you eat. You have learned to like fast foods I can only suggest you try to start eating healthier foods a little at time. Bananas, oranges, applesauce are good tasting fruits to eat. Vegetable juice like V8 is healthy and tastes good too. Lean meats, chicken, fish, whole grain bread, low fat dairy, and healthy fats like those in nuts and salad oil are also foods found in a healthy diet. A vitamin and mineral supplement taken daily can help fill the void if you need them. Hope that helps, Laura Kraemer,Slimkids.com
