hi
i am 14 and i have just come back from being out of gymnastics for 3 and a half months and i have put on quite a bit of weight.I have injured my foot so i have no use of my left leg as i cant put any pressure on it and its not allowed to be put on the floor. I have found that the muscles i did have on my stomach and arms have gone and that if i tense my stomach i can still see a six pack but it is not as toned as it was before and ontop of it you can see my fat that i have put on,i have also found i have love handles, and i was wondering whether going back to gym and just doing upper body and arm conditioning would get rid of the access weight or whether i would have to wait until i can use my legs again? I was also wondering if you could help me with a diet routine or a weight loss program so then atleast i can start knowing what i need to be doing to get back into a healthy diet again.
I would be grateful if you could please help me

ANY exercise is better than NO exercise. If you have to stay off your leg, then yes, just do upper-body exercises: chest press, pull-ups, barbell curls, etc.
