Answer
Dear Kaydee, Let's try to accept the fact that you and only you are responsible for the food you eat and the exercise you do. You can blame the people around you, but they can't stop you from eating. If you are really serious about losing weight, you have to sit down and write out a long term plan of action. To lose weight you will have to change habits. Changing habits can be very hard to do, it will take motivation and persistence on your part. If people around you are influencing what you eat, then change that by informing them you are going to be doing things differently and you will need their help by not eating badly around you. An easy affordable diet plan is 5 small meals spread out throughout the day each totaling about 300 calories each. Choose foods that are healthy like vegetables, lean meats, fish, tuna fish, eggs, chicken, whole fruits, low fat dairy, and whole grain bread. Limit foods that are easily stored as fat. Examples of foods that are easily stored as fat are; bagels, noodles, mac and cheese, crackers, cookies, chips, white bread, fruit juice, excess milk, sugar drinks, white potatoes, rice, and any other starchy carbs. An affordable work-out plan is a daily walk for at least 30 minutes, built up to 45 minutes when you can. It will take over a year to lose the weight, so figure out how you will plan each days meals and when you will fit in your walk, then do it. It absolutely will not get done and you will not lose weight unless you make a plan and stick with it. Hope that helps, Laura Kraemer,Slimkds.com
