Question
I am a 17 year old girl, 5'6, about 145 pounds. I have quite a gut on me, and wanted to tone it as much as possible in a week. If I ate healthy, and did 200 sit ups a day and spent 3 hours at the gym 6 of the 8 days,would I see a significant difference in 8 days? What other exercises besides sit ups tone your stomach? How much exercise would I need to do to see a good difference in a week? Thanks.

I'm sorry but the answer is no. One, there is no such thing as spot toning. Doing crunches will build the muscle in your abdomen, but it won't take away the fat that is sitting on top of the muscle. In order to do that you need a steady program of cardiovascular exercise, a healthy diet, and a well balanced strength training program over an extended period of time.
